By using Try Swiss Knife, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
Use of Services
Try Swiss Knife provides web-based productivity tools. You may:
- Use the tools for personal or commercial purposes
- Access tools from any device or browser
- Use tools offline after initial installation
What You Can't Do
- Attempt to reverse engineer our code for malicious purposes
- Use tools to harm, harass, or violate laws
- Claim our tools as your own creation
- Remove attribution or branding from our tools
Disclaimer
Our tools are provided "as is" without warranties. We:
- Don't guarantee uninterrupted service
- Aren't responsible for data loss (keep backups!)
- Don't provide professional advice (legal, financial, medical)
- Reserve the right to modify or discontinue free tools at any time
- If we discontinue something you have paid for, we will refund the unused part of what you paid
Suspending or closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close a paid account for that reason, we do not refund it. If you close your own account while on a paid plan, we do not refund the remainder of the period you paid for.
The Try Swiss Knife Market
The Market (market.tryswissknife.com) is where signed-in users publish plans made in our tools, from their own public page, called a chalet.
What you publish is public. Your chalet's name, address, description and links, and every plan you publish, can be seen and opened by anyone, with or without an account. They can appear in search engines and in answers from AI assistants. Your email address is never shown.
What you confirm when you publish. That:
- you have the right to share it: it is your own work, or you have permission;
- it contains no one else's personal details, such as names, addresses, phone numbers or booking references;
- it is not spam, misleading or unlawful.
What you allow. You keep ownership of what you publish. You allow us to store it, show it on the Market and let visitors open a copy of it in our tools, free of charge, for as long as it is published. Anyone who opens a copy may change and use it for their own purposes. A copy someone has already opened stays theirs after you delete the plan.
How long it stays. A plan stays on the Market until you delete it, you delete your chalet or your account, or we take it down. Changes you make to the plan in the tool later do not change the published copy. Deleting your account removes your chalet and everything in it.
Taking content down. We may take down a plan or suspend a chalet that breaks these terms or the law, or when someone with a right to it asks us to, for example over their personal details or their work. We may also withdraw a chalet address that impersonates a person, a brand or Try Swiss Knife. We show you the reason on your chalet page. While your chalet is suspended, you cannot delete it or open another one; deleting your account still removes everything. To ask about a decision, or to tell us about something on the Market, write to hello@tryswissknife.com.
Likes, views and opens. These counts are shown as they are, without guarantee. We may correct counts that were inflated.
Plans are written by their publishers, not by us. We do not check them for accuracy. Check opening times, prices and rules yourself before relying on one.
Intellectual Property
Try Swiss Knife and our tools are our intellectual property. You can't copy, modify, or distribute our code without permission.
Plans and Pricing
Try Swiss Knife is free to use today, with an upgrade plan available for extra services. Every tool works in your browser on the free plan.
Some features — saving to the cloud, syncing across devices, and AI assistance — need an account. The core of every tool works without one.
Paid plans and usage limits are part of the platform, and we may change what a plan includes — the free one included. If we do:
- We'll announce it on the site before it takes effect
- We'll never charge you without asking you to agree first
- You can export your data as a .tsk file on any plan, at any time
Who you buy from
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders.
Paddle.com Market Ltd takes the payment, issues the receipt, and handles any tax that applies. When you buy, Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions apply alongside these terms.
Prices and tax
Prices shown include any VAT, GST or sales tax that applies where you live. The exact amount is shown before you pay.
Billing and renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We tell you the price and the period before you subscribe, and Paddle emails you a receipt each time.
You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel first.
Getting what you paid for
Paid features are switched on for your account as soon as payment goes through. There is nothing to ship and nothing to install.
Who can buy
Anyone can use Try Swiss Knife, at any age. To buy a paid plan you must be able to enter a contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian buy it for you.
Refunds
See our Refund Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use means you accept the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
